AudioShift helps you practise, record, arrange, and edit locally. It does not claim ownership of material you create or import. Rights you already hold remain yours; other people’s rights remain theirs. The app licence does not grant rights to third-party material that you import, record, transcribe, sample, or export.
Use material you own or have permission or another lawful basis to use. Permissions needed for editing, recording, teaching, public performance, publication, and distribution may differ. Access through a streaming service is not in itself permission to copy or republish a song or video. Obtain appropriate consent when recording others. AudioShift does not remove DRM or provide a streaming-service downloader.
The same applies to sound banks, EXS/SFZ mappings, and samples you choose to import for MIDI playback or Sampler projects. Importing, combining, or editing them does not make them part of AudioShift’s included CC0 piano or grant redistribution rights. File checks reduce handling risks and check compatibility, not ownership or licence terms. In particular, permission to use a sound in a musical recording is not necessarily permission to distribute that sound as a playable sample library or instrument.
Selecting a file in AudioShift makes it available to the app on your device; it does not publish that file to an AudioShift media server. The developer does not host a public collection of users’ uploads and cannot remotely inspect or remove files from their devices. If you share an export through another service, that service’s rules and rights-reporting process apply.
If you believe material distributed by the developer in AudioShift, its documentation, website, or promotion infringes your rights, email Note.Grid.Apps@gmail.com.
Please identify the work and the rights you hold or represent, the specific item and location concerned (for example an app version, instrument name, or web address), why you believe it infringes, and how we can contact you. Supply only information reasonably necessary to investigate; do not send unrelated private files. Correspondence is handled under the Privacy Policy.
This contact address is for concerns about material supplied by the developer. For material shared through another service, contact that service or the person who shared it. If AudioShift later introduces hosted user content, its rights and privacy arrangements must be reassessed before that service launches.
